By means of publications and events, ISIM aimes to disseminate the insights gained from its research programmes and projects, and the views represented by its network. ISIM Publications and publications by ISIM researchers address a broad audience ranging from the academic and the professional to the general. ISIM publishes the ISIM Review, ISIM Papers, ISIM Dissertations, the ISIM Annual Reports along with informative publications geared towards the Dutch public.

From 2010 onwards, ISIM publications such as the ISIM Review and the ISIM Papers, will remain digitally available in the ISIM Repository managed by the Leiden University Library (https://openaccess.leidenuniv.nl/handle/1887/4946).  

In cooperation with the Amsterdam University Press, ISIM has taken the initiative to launch the ISIM Series on Contemporary Muslim Societies.
